Bum Gravy Sunday Comes Early...

I'm away for a few days, but I didn't want you to miss your dose of Bum Gravy (see? I do think about you. This is erm, ooh (looks at tracklisting in style of an elderly, hairy chinned and bespectacled Aunt choosing from a virginal box of Milk Tray), erm, yes...Yes.

In reply to last Sundays comment about the Sounds single of the week...it was a Melody Maker single of the week and read a one liner of "This is a work of incalcuble importance"

MM also stated in a live review that the BG's looked like a group of Rigsby's on stage. What a compliment.

And further to this, 30 seconds Fat Digester was also played on Steve Wright in the Afternoon.

A true flash in the pan.

With regards to the steve wright thing, I believe (and I may be wrong about this as well - do correct me if so) SW broadcast what purported to be an interview with Bum Gravy (he was smitten by the name, it would seem) but which didn't feature *any* of the mebers of the band, just a bunch of his cronies pretending to be BG. As to being a flash in the pan - well, we're talking about them here, aren't we?
